JMART and JMT support sports under the 'One Sports Association, One State Enterprise' initiative

On March 29, 2024, Mr. Srettha Thavisin, the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, presided over the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for sports association support at Santi Maitri Building, Government House.

Mr. Kitipat Chollavuth, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, representing Jaymart Group Holdings Public Company Limited, signed the agreement to support the Thailand Softball Association. Similarly,

Mr. Sutthirak Trichira-aporn, Chief Executive Officer of JMT Network Services Public Company Limited, signed the agreement to support the Badminton Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage.

The signing of this MOU is part of the "One Sports Association, One State Enterprise" initiative, aimed at supporting sports associations in various capacities, including the development of sports personnel, organizing domestic competitions, participating in international events, providing sports equipment, establishing branch sports centers, and fostering collaboration between sports organizations within Thailand.

In his remarks, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to all the working team members for their clarity, transparency, and genuine dedication to their work, which has led to an increase in both the number of associations and financial support from state enterprises and private sectors. Beyond monetary contributions, he emphasized that everyone could contribute to the advancement of sports in other ways. He also noted that the participating agencies and organizations play key roles in driving the country's economy, highlighting the importance of sports in nurturing and supporting the development of youth and children.
