Jaymart Group Holdings Public Company Limited is committed to advancing sustainability in every dimension of its business operations, with a strong emphasis on environmental conservation. The company has collaborated with external partners to continuously drive positive changes in society. Previously, Jaymart participated in the “Dispose of E-Waste Equals Planting Trees” project with AIS. This initiative was established to honor His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua on the occasion of His Majesty’s 72nd birthday anniversary. The project aims to promote awareness and cooperation in sustainable environmental stewardship at both community and national levels.
The project, “Collect One Piece of E-Waste Equals One Tree,” in which the company participated, ran from April 1 to July 19, 2024. The campaign was promoted internally across the group, encouraging employees to participate in collecting unused electronic waste (E-Waste). Through concerted efforts and dedication, the company successfully gathered 368 pieces of E-Waste, corresponding to 368 trees received in return. These trees included various species such as mahogany, pink trumpet, orchid tree, red flame tree, Lagerstroemia, and silver oak.
On September 26, 2024, the company advanced the initiative by delivering all the collected trees to Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus, in Nakhon Pathom Province, to support tree planting and green space conservation within the university. This handover not only demonstrated the company’s commitment to natural resource preservation but also underscored its intention to collaborate with both public and private sectors to foster sustainable societal development in the long term.
The company firmly believes that promoting awareness among employees and society about the importance of proper electronic waste management is a crucial step toward building a sustainable future. By adopting this approach across all sectors, meaningful change can be achieved in environmental protection and the creation of green spaces.
